Searching for sources of gravel for building of road fill and pavement layers; crushed stone for making cement concrete and for road works; sand for making of cement concrete and for pipe bedding; and water for construction. Prospecting of materials carried out in accordance with guidelines provided in Botswana Roads Department Guideline No. 3 – Methods and Procedures for Prospecting for Road Construction Materials (2000).
